No batch of links this week: OoO midway check-in
I’m tucked away in Europe this week, my first time on an airplane since late 2019 and my first visit to this region in my life. At this moment, I’m probably repacking and getting ready to switch countries via another (shorter) flight. But despite my being out of office this week and into the next, I wanted to drop in with a link for you in the interim.
A few weeks ago, I led a webinar to discuss my approach to working in modern PR. You can watch that hour-long session here if you’d like. I hope that it’s insightful even for those who don’t work in the same field I do.
Besides for that, I wanted to check in with you about how you’ve liked this newsletter this first half of the year. It’s been good for me to mark for paying subscribers what it feels like to be alive this year - and to have a record of it. So far, I believe I’ve written close to 50,000 words. That’s roughly half a novel. At the close of the year, I’ll have written a novel’s worth of content, one essay at a time.
So as we look ahead at July, what would you like to see more of from these batches of links? Or beyond these batches of links? And for the non-paying subscribers among you, what would it take to get you to leap over to the paying subscriptions?
No formal surveys, just a short solicitation for feedback about what’s working and what’s not, as we mark the midway point of 2022.
